Newsstand: Notre Dame football’s ‘warriors of the week’
Each Monday of the offseason, the Notre Dame football Twitter account has been tweeting out who the Fighting Irish football “warriors of the week” are.
For Feb. 27, it was running back Audric Estime, defensive lineman Rylie Mills and wide receiver Leo Scheidler. And for Monday’s announcement, offensive tackle Blake Fisher, cornerback Jaden Mickey and running back Chase Ketterer were singled out.

What exactly one does to be named a “warrior of the week” is unclear, but it’s obvious that it has to do with those players having an excellent showing in the weight room and working on the field.

“Getting the offer felt great. We were actually in Coach [Chansi] Stuckey’s office watching a presentation, and after it, he told me I had an official offer from Notre Dame. All I could do was smile. Inside I was on cloud nine, but I just smiled and kept my composure.”
