FIVE MARSHALL PLAYERS TO KNOW
QB #3 Henry Colombi: A sixth-year senior, Colombi started five games for Texas Tech last year. He’s on his third school in a career that started at Utah State. He made his first start for Marshall in the 55-3 season-opening win over Norfolk State, going 24-for-26 for 205 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
RB #8 Khalan Laborn: Another sixth-year senior, Laborn is a former five-star recruit who began his career at Florida State. He was dismissed in 2020 and landed at Marshall this offseason. He’s now the starter with 2021 FBS touchdown leader Rasheen Ali on a leave of absence. Laborn ran for 102 yards and two touchdowns in the opener.

LB #7 Abraham Beauplan: The senior was a first-team All-Conference USA selection last year, totaling 85 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.
CB #3 Steven Gilmore: A second-team all-conference selection in 2021, Gilmore returned as a super senior using the COVID-19 bonus year. Through four seasons, he has 159 tackles, 7.0 TFLs, 32 pass breakups and six interceptions. He’s the younger brother of Indianapolis Colts cornerback and two-time All-Pro Stephon Gilmore.
CB #6 Micah Abraham: Another second-team all-conference pick last year, Abraham made 33 tackles and led the team with 14 pass breakups in 2021.
