The Notre Dame football communications team released its pregame injury report ahead of Saturday’s Week 3 matchup against Purdue.
Junior defensive lineman Joshua Burnham is unavailable after suffering an ankle injury on the last play against Northern Illinois. Burnham played 54 out of 65 snaps and finished with 4 tackles, including 1 for loss.
On Monday, Freeman said Burnham had made progress 48 hours after the NIU game. However, he did not go through pregame warmups against Purdue and is now inactive.
Notre Dame did not note any other players would be unavailable, besides players previously ruled out earlier in the week or season. All other players listed on the Irish depth chart are available to play.
