FanDuel Sportsbook released betting lines for three 2023 Notre Dame football games three weeks ago. The point spreads for all three of those games have already moved.

The Fighting Irish are a 19.5-point favorite over Navy in the season-opener in Ireland, up from 17.5 points in the initial release. Ohio State was an 8.5-point favorite over the Irish three weeks ago. Now the Buckeyes are favored by a flat 10 points — on the road. The Irish are a home underdog again when USC visits South Bend in mid-October, but that margin is slimming. It has gone down to 1.5 points from 3 points in late February.

The Irish lost to Ohio State and USC by 11 points in both games last season. Those defeats bookmarked the 2022 campaign. The game against the Buckeyes is the Irish’s fifth game of the 2023 season on Sept. 23. Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams and the Trojans come to town three weeks later on Oct. 14. The Irish get a much-needed bye week after that.

“I love watching football. If I’m not here, in my dorm, maybe turn on a game. Watching games from last year, watching good quarterbacks, stuff like that. I just feel like once you watch something enough, it makes sense to you.”
