It seemed like everyone and their mother had something to nitpick with EA Sports’ list of the 25 toughest places to play in college football, which was released Tuesday, expect for the Texas A&M Aggies, of course. Kyle Field came in at No. 1. Notre Dame Stadium checked in at No. 21.

If you’re a Fighting Irish fan clamoring that was too low for the House That Rockne Built, just wait until you see the hierarchy dropped by On3 national college football reporter Andy Staples. No need to waste time getting to it. Here it is.

That’s right, no Notre Dame Stadium. He didn’t release honorable mentions, either. Needless to say, Fighting Irish head coach Marcus Freeman has some work to do in turning around the way game days in South Bend are viewed. There is only so much he can manage, though. The Irish playing home games against Northern Illinois, Miami (Ohio), Louisville, Stanford, Florida State and Virginia. That game against the Seminoles better be an all-timer.
