Notre Dame vs. California snap counts, participation chart
Notre Dame kept its usual deep rotation on defense in its first win of 2022, a 24-17 victory over California. The Irish used 57 players – 19 on offense, 25 on defense, four specialists and nine who appeared exclusively on special teams units.
Notre Dame’s offense was on the field for 65 plays, including those nullified due to penalty. Its defense logged 71 plays, including penalties.
