Newsstand: How Notre Dame football has fared wearing green jerseys

Notre Dame will wear green jerseys for the first time in four years Saturday against California. The Fighting Irish are putting a four-game winning streak in green jerseys on the line.

The Irish last wore green against Florida State on senior day in 2018. Notre Dame won, 42-13. The last time Notre Dame lost in green uniform tops was against Michigan in 2021. There is an asterisk associated with that 35-31 defeat in Ann Arbor, though; the jerseys were white with green numbers.
