The Clemson Tigers are back in South Bend. This time, 77,622 fans at Notre Dame Stadium are there with them. Follow along below for live updates of No. 4 Clemson (8-0) vs. Notre Dame (5-3).

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC/Peacock.

Clemson at Notre Dame live updates: First quarter

• Clemson wins the half and defers. The Tigers will kick with the wind, making the Irish go against it first.

• The Irish get a first down with junior quarterback Drew Pyne connecting with junior tight end Michael Mayer, but Pyne is sacked on the following third down. Graduate student Jon Sot punts 31 yards into the wins. It’s Clemson ball at its own 25.

• Clemson takes on two holding penalties on its first drive and goes three and out. Senior linebacker Jordan Botelho blocks the punt. Sophomore linebacker Prince Kollie returns it for a touchdown. The Irish take the early lead.

SCORE: Irish 7, Tigers 0 with 9:08 left in the first quarter

• Clemson turns it over on downs on fourth and 4 from the Irish 38.

• The Irish go three and out. Clemson gets the ball back at its own 13 with 4:04 left in the frame.

• The Irish force another three and out. They get the ball back and finish the frame with a first and 10 at their own 47. Junior running back Chris Tyree gains 14 yards on the final play of the quarter.

Second quarter

• Clemson sets the Irish up near midfield with a short punt into the wind. The Irish get into field goal range, but graduate student Blake Grupe misses a 41-yard try wide left with the wind at his back.

• Clemson punts back to the Irish with less than seven minutes left in the half. The teams are a combined 1-10 on third down.

• Notre Dame sustains an 11-play, 78-yard drive that takes 5:47 off the clock. It ends with a 5-yard touchdown rush from Pyne. The Irish rush for five first downs on the drive, including a 10-yard scramble from Pyne two plays before the TD.

SCORE: Irish 14, Tigers 0 with 0:38 left in the first half.

Third quarter

• The Notre Dame defense gets off the field after four plays for 24 yards from the Clemson offense. The Tigers down the ensuing punt at the Irish 5.

• The Irish rush out of the shadow of their own end zone but ultimately have to punt. Sot downs his kick at the Clemson 6 in what has become a battle of field position.

• The Irish force Clemson to punt near midfield. Irish return man Brandon Joseph gets out to the 25.

• Notre Dame sophomore running back Logan Diggs rushes for a first down and Pyne makes his best throw of the game for another, but the Irish drive stalls and they punt back to Clemson. Tigers ball at their own 7.

• Clemson makes a quarterback change from DJ Uiagalelei to five-star freshman Cade Klubnik. His first pass attempt of the night is picked off by Irish freshman corner Ben Morrison. Morrison sets the Irish up on the Clemson 14.

SCORE: Irish 14, Clemson 0 at the end of the third quarter

Fourth quarter

• Notre Dame extends its lead on a short touchdown rush by sophomore running back Audric Estime.

SCORE: Irish 21, Tigers 0 with 14:37 left in the fourth quarter

• Morrison picks off Uiagalelei and returns it 96 yards down the sideline for a touchdown.

SCORE: Irish 28, Tigers 0 with 12:58 left in the fourth quarter

• Clemson closes a 11-play, 75 yards drive with a short touchdown rush by Will Shipley.

SCORE: Irish 28, Tigers 7 with 10:14 left in the fourth quarter

• Pyne hits Michael Mayer for a 17-yard TD.

SCORE: Irish 35, Tigers 7 with just over four minutes left in the fourth quarter.

• Clemson scores a touchdown with 1:35 left.

SCORE: Irish 35, Tigers 14
