There isn’t any time for Marcus Freeman to hit the pause button on his first season as the Notre Dame football head coach no matter how much he may want to. After a stunning upset to Marshall and an 0-2 start, he could certainly use a reset.

But there’s no such thing in college football. It’s time to focus on California.

The Fighting Irish are a 10.5-point favorite over the visiting Bears as of Monday morning. Notre Dame had previously won 36 games in a row as at least a double-digit favorite before falling to Marshall. Freeman has to answer for snapping such a streak. He speaks to the media Monday at 12 p.m. ET.
