Newsstand: Notre Dame custom player jerseys available as part of Fanatics NIL program
Notre Dame fans can now buy a TB12 jersey. Tyler Buchner, that is.
Fanatics launched its NIL jersey program Thursday, making officially licensed merchandise featuring individual player names available for purchase online. Notre Dame is among the 40-plus schools involved and among the 20 that have jerseys available for purchase online now. Buchner is one of 53 current Notre Dame player jersey options.
Fanatics first revealed the program this winter. More than 4,300 players have opted into the group licensing agreement since. Jerseys are $140, and an unspecified portion of the revenue goes to players.
Other notable Notre Dame jersey options beside Buchner include safety Brandon Joseph, safety Houston Griffith, cornerback Clarence Lewis, cornerback Jaden Mickey, tight end Kevin Bauman, wide receiver Tobias Merriweather, wide receiver Avery Davis and running back Chris Tyree.
Wide receiver Lorenzo Styles, tight end Michael Mayer, guard Jarrett Patterson, defensive end Isaiah Foskey, defensive tackle Jayson Ademilola and cornerback Cam Hart are among the returning Irish starters who are not jersey options at this time.
