Peacock releases information for ‘Here Come The Irish’ Notre Dame docuseries
Get ready for a Notre Dame version of the HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” which annually covers the ins and outs of an NFL team’s training camp. Peacock is releasing a similar docuseries on Fighting Irish football called “Here Come The Irish.” It’s set to premiere on Aug. 29, two days before Notre Dame’s 2024 season-opener against Texas A&M.
The series will document life on and off the football field for Notre Dame players, coaches and personalities. Interviews teased in the trailers include sit downs with current head coach Marcus Freeman, legendary former coach Lou Holtz, current defensive coordinator Al Golden and current players Riley Leonard, Howard Cross III, Benjamin Morrison and Jack Kiser.
The episode release schedule is as follows…
- Thursday, August 29 – Episodes 1 & 2
- Thursday, December 5 – Episodes 3 & 4
- Thursday, December 19 – Episodes 5 & 6
- Thursday, January 16, 2025 – Episode 7
The releases are in advance of some major dates on the 2024 schedule. Aug. 29 is two days before the season-opener, Dec. 5 is three days before the College Football Playoff selection show, Dec. 19 is one day before the first playoff game and Jan 16. is four days before the national title game.
