Saturday, the Irish went through practice No. 15.

Freeman will speak to the media at 12 p.m. ET today to give a variety of updates on his team exactly two weeks before the Irish take on Navy at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, at 2:30 p.m. ET on Aug. 26. Live updates

• Freeman says the Notre Dame offense won today’s scrimmage vs. the Irish defense. He says the key was the offense not turning the ball over. “A really good battle on both sides. I was really pleased with what I saw.”

• Freeman says the next two weeks will be about fine-tuning and preparing for Navy. “The true physical part of fall camp is over.”

• Freeman on the idea there has been more trash talking in this fall camp than in past Notre Dame fall camps: “I don’t want to pull back that competitive spirit that our guys have.” Freeman says it’s about making sure no lines are crossed, though.

• Freeman says he has a good idea of who will start on both sides of the ball vs. Navy.

• Freeman says today’s practice started with a series of live, fast-paced action with the first-team Notre Dame defense vs. the scout team running the Navy offense.

• Freeman says he loves the competition going on at the offensive guard spots. He can’t wait to go over film of today’s scrimmage with Notre Dame offensive line coach Joe Rudolph.

• Aidan Gobaira and Kevin Bauman are out for the season with ACL injuries, Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman says.

• Freeman says freshman linebacker Drayk Bowen has done a good job running with the twos in fall camp. He puts him in a class with Jaiden Ausberry as first-year guys Notre Dame can count on defensively this year.
