How to watch Notre Dame football vs. Miami University in Week 4
It’s the third weekend of September and Notre Dame still has not won a home game this season. It’s only the Irish’s second try at it Saturday against the Miami University RedHawks (0-2), but that’s still something nobody who bleeds blue and gold expected to be true at this point in the year.
No. 17 Notre Dame (2-0) looks to avoid a repeat of recent history, losing to Mid-American Conference foe Northern Illinois, in Week 4 against fellow MAC opponent Miami. Here’s everything you need to know about the matchup, including how to watch and stream it.

Early line for The Game revealed
Head coaches: Miami (Ohio) — Chuck Martin (56-64; 11th season at Miami; Notre Dame — Marcus Freeman (21-9, third season at Notre Dame)
2024 team records: Fighting Irish — 2-1 (W, 23-13 at Texas A&M; L, 16-14 vs. NIU); W, 66-7 at Purdue); RedHawks — 0-2 (L, 13-6 at Northwestern; L, 27-16 vs. Cincinnati)
Noting Notre Dame: It’s been a whirlwind of a season for Notre Dame so far. The Fighting Irish were on top of the college football mountaintop with what many called the best Week 1 win, a 23-13 triumph at then-No. 20 Texas A&M, only to fall into a deep, dark valley with a 16-14 home loss to then-unranked Northern Illinois. The arrow is pointed back up for Freeman’s team after a convincing 66-7 win at Purdue, but what can Notre Dame fans expect against another Mid-American Conference opponent in South Bend on Saturday? Questions remain about a largely feeble and inefficient Notre Dame passing game, but the Irish sure can run the rock, quarterback included, and the defense is once again one of the nation’s best it seems. When the Irish are locked in, they can probably compete with just about anybody. We’re just not sure if they can always lock in.
