The spring semester begins this week at Notre Dame. A dozen signees from the recruiting class of 2023 are set to embark on their college endeavors. One of them who moved into his dorm in South Bend was publicized on social media Sunday.

That was four-star quarterback Kenny Minchey of Hendersonville (Tenn.) Pope John Paul II High School.

Minchey’s mother, T. Taylor Minchey, posted four photos of Minchey during his move-in process. Minchey already has a blue and gold Notre Dame flag hanging above his bed. T. Taylor captioned the post, “Love bigger than the ocean is wide…” and tagged her son.

Minchey, ranked No. 184 overall player and the No. 13 QB in the 2023 On3 Consensus, is one of 12 signees from the Irish’s class of 2023 who is expected to begin classes this week. Here’s the list of the others.
