Tim Hyde reaction to Dante Moore to Notre Dame prediction
At the top of the live show, Blue & Gold analyst Tim Hyde was asked for his reaction of Singer’s prediction of elite 2023 quarterback Dante Moore to pick Notre Dame.
“It’s obviously as exciting as could be if that’s the way it goes,” he noted. “I’ve said it a handful of times — go all in on him. Make him the guy and go get him. It’s Coach [Marcus] Freeman’s first class at Notre Dame, and [success] in his tenure will be around the quarterback. So, go get one of the premier ones, and it’s not often that Notre Dame has one a couple hours away. Go get him. He’s a tremendous football player.”
Hyde also shared his thoughts on what he would do if Vizzina called the Notre Dame staff to give his commitment before Moore makes a decision.
“I’d wait on Dante Moore,” he said. “In watching a film, there’s a difference between the two, and Moore is a five-star. Notre Dame doesn’t get guys like this. Why would you rush to take a quarterback if Moore is the guy you want in program. Why not wait for him?”

Ranked as the nation’s No. 17 player and No. 4 quarterback according to the 2023 On3 Consensus, Moore is a big-time talent who the Fighting Irish staff has been recruiting hard since offering him on St. Patrick’s Day last year.
Moore has an NIL Valuation of $39,000, which ranks No. 102 in the high school football NIL rankings. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Vizzina is the nation’s No. 72 player and No. 7 quarterback in America per the On3 Consensus. His NIL Valuation is $36,000, good for No. 121 in the high school football NIL rankings.
