Notre Dame vs. Stanford snap counts, participation chart
Notre Dame used 53 players between all three phases in a 16-14 loss to Stanford Saturday. The Irish deployed 21 on offense, 21 on defense, four specialists and seven players who appeared only on special teams.
Notre Dame’s offense was on the field for 63 plays, including those nullified due to penalty. The Irish defense played 83 snaps, including penalties.

• Notre Dame did not have two cornerbacks available: grad student TaRiq Bracy and freshman Jaden Mickey. That led to Morrison and Hart playing all but one snap.
• Henderson and Jayson Ademilola left the game due to injury.
• Smith’s 63 snaps were more than double his previous Notre Dame high of 28.
• Merriweather, Osafo-Mensah, Rubio, Kollie, Morrison and Watts each set career highs in snaps.
• Evans made his season debut after missing the first five games due to a foot injury suffered in July.
