Every week on the Wake Up The Echoes podcast, host Tony Simeone asks a pair of Notre Dame football players about their “coldest” moments of the season. Cold, in this context, basically means cool. Awesome. Bad***. Whatever adjective you wish to use.

Simeone asked freshman wide receiver Rico Flores Jr. about sophomore running back Jadarian Price‘s coldest moment and vice versa.

“For sure, USC,” Flores Jr. said of Price’s 99-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter against the Trojans. “That put them to sleep.”

“Rico has a lot of cold moments, but I would say another big game for us was the Ohio State game. We were on the goal line, and Rico made that play,” Price said of Flores Jr.’s touchdown snag that put the Irish ahead of the Buckeyes in the fourth quarter. “I remember watching. I was in the game at the time, too. I remember seeing that DB fall, and Rico had the little slant or whatever and he caught it in the back of the end zone. It was amazing to see the impact that had on the team like, ‘Oh, we’re back in this.’ It was a ballgame at that point.”
