The Denver Broncos are playoff contenders, and former Oregon quarterback Bo Nix is a candidate for NFL Rookie of the Year. A big reason for both is the play of former Notre Dame offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey.

McGlinchey turned in his best game of the season in Week 15, per Pro Football Focus. He did not allow a pressure, starring in pass protection. He also dominated in the run game, earning an 89.2 PFF run-blocking grade as the Broncos dispatched the Indianapolis Colts 31-13 at home.

McGlinchey was one of five offensive tackles in the NFL (minimum 25 snaps) who did not allow a quarterback pressure this week.

Here’s how every other ex-Notre Dame athlete in the NFL did in Week 15.

Joe Alt (played at Notre Dame from 2021-23), OL, Los Angeles Chargers

Result: 40-17 loss to Buccaneers

Alt continued building his case for the Pro Bowl with another strong performance, allowing a sack but no additional pressures and earning a 75.1 PFF offense grade.

Brandon Aubrey (2013-16), K, Dallas Cowboys

Result: 30-14 win over Panthers

Aubrey made 3 of his 4 field-goal attempts, with his only miss being an unfathomable 70-yarder. He hit from 53.
