It is crunch time in the ACC, with just one week before the regular season ends and everyone turns their attention toward the postseason.

Most ACC teams have two contests to go, while a few are looking at just one more game. Where does Notre Dame stand and what could happen to shake up the seeding and matchups for next week?

Here is a complete look at the ACC standings as of Monday afternoon. Keep in mind that the top four teams receive a double bye, while teams No. 5 through No. 9 get to sit out the first round. Notre Dame has already clinched a top-four seed.

1. Duke (25-4, 15-3 ACC)

Remaining games: at Pittsburgh, North Carolina

After a trip to Pittsburgh in which the Blue Devils should be able to take care of business, they have a date with their crosstown rival at Cameron Indoor Stadium … for Coach K’s last home contest. Talk about a big game.

2. Notre Dame (21-8, 14-4)

Remaining games: at Florida State, Pittsburgh

The double bye next week is locked up, but Notre Dame still needs to finish strong for NCAA Tournament purposes. They are rather safely in the tournament at this point, sitting as a No. 9 seed, but they really shouldn’t drop either of these games.

3. North Carolina (21-8, 13-5)

Remaining games: Syracuse, at Duke

North Carolina can’t overlook Syracuse, but the bigger issue on the horizon is a season finale at Duke. The road to a double bye is quite daunting, especially since the Hurricanes and the Demon Deacons already beat UNC earlier this season, giving them the ACC tiebreaker. The Tar Heels are currently a “Last Four Byes” team according to ESPN’s Bracketology expert Joe Lunardi.

4. Miami (20-9, 12-6)

Remaining games: at Boston College, at Syracuse

If Miami wins one of its last two games, they clinch a double bye. Should that occur, it would be a huge feat for a team that has already surprised with this season’s performance.

5. Wake Forest (22-8, 12-7)

Remaining games: NC State

Wake Forest can get a 13th ACC win, but they lost to Miami twice this season. That means unless Miami finishes with 12 wins, the Hurricanes own the tiebreaker. Wake Forest does, however, hold the tiebreaker over the Tar Heels. If UNC loses out, the Demon Deacons could sneak into the top four. Like UNC, Wake Forest is currently a “Last Four Byes” team according to Lunardi.

6. Virginia (17-12, 11-8)

Remaining games: at Louisville

The Cavaliers have just one game left and cannot move into the top four if Miami wins one more game. Last week saw a rare occurrence for head coach Tony Bennett’s squad: they lost two straight games, one of which came on a heartbreaking three-point shot at the buzzer against the Seminoles.

7. Virginia Tech (18-11, 10-8)

Remaining games: Louisville, at Clemson

The Hokies are on the NCAA Tournament bubble, and they have two winnable games to close out the regular season. On Monday, Lunardi had them in his “Next Four Out” category.

8. Syracuse (15-14, 9-9)

Remaining games: at North Carolina, Miami

The Orange will try to stay at or above .500 to avoid having a losing ACC record for the first time since 2017-18 and just the second time since 2005-06.

9. Florida State (15-13, 8-10)

Remaining games: Notre Dame, NC State

Florida State hosts one of the hottest ACC teams and one of the coolest ACC teams to end their 2021-22 campaign.

10. Clemson (14-15, 6-12)

Remaining games: Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech

Clemson stays home for its final two games before heading north to Brooklyn. Head coach Brad Brownell was extended through the 2025-26 season last year, but Clemson fans are growing more and more restless after a disappointing year.

11. Louisville (12-16, 6-12)

Remaining games: at Virginia Tech, Virginia

The Cardinals round out the regular season with a couple of Commonwealth matchups. Virginia and Virginia Tech have the best scoring defenses in the conference, while Louisville will enter the games with the No. 11 scoring offense. They are in quite the downward spiral, having lost 12 of their last 14 games.

12. Boston College (11-17, 6-12)

Remaining games: Miami, at Georgia Tech

The Eagles have been out of conference contention for quite a while, but they continue to show some fight and have two of their last three games. Can they finish strong and take some momentum to New York?

13. Pittsburgh (11-18, 6-12)

Remaining games: Duke, at Notre Dame

It won’t be an easy finish for the Panthers, who close out the regular season with the ACC’s top two teams. They did, however, keep it very close with Notre Dame the first time they saw them this season. The Irish won 68-67 on Dec. 28.

14. Georgia Tech (11-18, 4-14)

Remaining games: at Clemson, Boston College

Georgia Tech has already beaten both Clemson and Boston College this season, and they’ll look to finish on a high note after an embarrassing 34-point loss in South Bend on Saturday. They hold the longest active losing streak in the conference of three games.

15. NC State (11-18, 4-14)

Remaining games: at Wake Forest, at Florida State

A disappointing year for the Wolfpack ends with two road contests. They fell to Florida State at home by just two points on New Year’s Day, but they were blown out at in their home arena by Wake Forest on Feb. 9. We will see what the second matchups hold.
