Notre Dame releases depth chart for Week 12 vs. Virginia

Week 12 is Senior Week at Notre Dame Stadium, as the 8-1 Irish take on 5-4 Virginia at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in South Bend.

Here’s how Notre Dame will line up in its final (regular-season) home game of 2024. The Irish made an injury-related change at nose tackle.

Hinish will start in place of graduate student defensive tackle Howard Cross III, who is out this week with an ankle injury. Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman said that Cross’ injury is not a long-term concern, which is good news for an Irish team that can absolutely not afford to lose No. 56 for a potential College Football Playoff game.

Mukam and Sevillano will serve as Hinish’s backups this week against Virginia. The latter made his college debut Saturday against Florida State.
