Notre Dame releases depth chart for Week 9 vs. Pittsburgh
Notre Dame released its depth chart for Week 9 vs. Pittsburgh, and the Irish made multiple changes. Notably, the wide receiver and tight end positions were adjusted to better represent what Notre Dame fans saw on the field in the past two games.
Here is the full Fighting Irish depth chart in advance of Saturday’s game at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
Quarterback
- Sam Hartman (Gr.)
- Steve Angeli (So.)
Running back
- Audric Estimé (Jr.)
- Gi’Bran Payne (So.) OR
- Jadarian Price (So.) OR
- Devyn Ford (Gr.) OR
- Jeremiyah Love (Fr.)
Notre Dame did not update the running back position, even though head coach Marcus Freeman all but confirmed — with the carry distribution and in a Zoom press conference Oct. 12 — that Love is the No. 2 ball carrier.
Wide receiver
- Jayden Thomas (Jr.)
- Jaden Greathouse (Fr.)
Greathouse had been listed in the slot throughout his freshman season, but he moved to the boundary receiver position to make room for a newcomer in the slot.
Wide receiver
- Rico Flores Jr. (Fr.)
- Tobias Merriweather (So.)
Flores out-snapped Merriweather the past two games and is now officially the starter at field receiver.
