Notre Dame released its season-opening depth chart Monday morning. Here’s how the Irish will line up when they take on Navy at 2:30 p.m. ET on Aug. 26 in Dublin, Ireland.

Quarterback

  1. Sam Hartman (Gr.)
  2. Steve Angeli (So.)

Running back

  1. Audric Estimé (Jr.)
  2. Gi’Bran Payne (So.) OR
  3. Jadarian Price (So.) OR
  4. Devyn Ford (Gr.) OR
  5. Jeremiyah Love (Fr.)

As expected, all five scholarship Notre Dame running backs should see the field, at least in the early going.

Wide receiver

  1. Jayden Thomas (Jr.)
  2. Deion Colzie (Jr.)

Wide receiver

  1. Tobias Merriweather (So.)
  2. Rico Flores Jr. (Fr.) OR
  3. Matt Salerno (Gr.)

Salerno is listed at the field receiver spot, with an “or” between him and Flores. Notre Dame is seven deep at WR.

Wide receiver (slot)

  1. Chris Tyree (Sr.)
  2. Jaden Greathouse (Fr.)

Tight end

  1. Mitchell Evans (Jr.)
  2. Holden Staes (So.)
  3. Davis Sherwood (Jr.)

Notre Dame did not list sophomore tight end Eli Raridon, which is the only mild surprise here.

Left tackle

  1. Joe Alt (Jr.)
  2. Tosh Baker (Sr.)

Left guard

  1. Pat Coogan (Jr.)
  2. Billy Schrauth (So.)

Center

  1. Zeke Correll (Gr.)
  2. Ashton Craig (So.)

Right guard

  1. Rocco Spindler (Jr.)
  2. Andrew Kristofic (Gr.)

No “or” at right or left guard. Coogan and Spindler are Notre Dame’s starters.

Right tackle

  1. Blake Fisher (Jr.)
  2. Aamil Wagner (So.)

Vyper

  1. Jordan Botelho (Sr.)
  2. Junior Tuihalamaka (So.)
  3. Joshua Burnham (So.)

Tuihalamaka dealt with a nagging injury in fall camp, but Notre Dame listed him ahead of Burnham with no “or.”
