Newsstand: How Notre Dame rookies performed over the first weekend of the NFL preseason

While the 2022 Notre Dame NFL Draft class was relatively small, a handful of now-rookies signed with teams at the next level as undrafted free agents. Here is a brief synopsis of their performances following the conclusion of the first weekend of the NFL preseason.

  • Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Kevin Austin Jr.: Zero catches, one target
  • Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jack Coan: 1 for 5 for 0 yards
  • Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton: One tackle, one fumble recovery
  • Houston Texans defensive lineman Kurt Hinish: Two tackles, one sack (of former Irish quarterback Ian Book, no less)
  • New Orleans Saints linebacker Isaiah Pryor: No statistics recorded
  • Las Vegas Raiders defensive lineman Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa: No statistics recorded
  • Washington Commanders linebacker Drew White: Out for the season with a torn ACL suffered in practice
  • Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams: Did not appear due to foot injury
