Notre Dame has sold out two of its three primetime home games for the 2025 season, the Irish announced Monday morning.

Original-sale tickets are no longer available for matchups against Texas A&M on Sept. 13 and USC on Oct. 18, both of which will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET. Fans hoping to secure tickets for either game will have to resort to the secondary market.

Tickets remain available for Notre Dame’s third primetime home game, which will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Nov. 8 against Navy. The Irish also play four home games at 3:30 p.m. ET: Sept. 20 vs. Purdue, Oct. 4 vs. Boise State, Oct. 11 vs. NC State and Nov. 22 vs. Syracuse. Tickets are still being sold for each of those matchups as well.

Notre Dame went 6-1 at home in 2024, including a College Football Playoff first-round win over Indiana on Dec. 20. Its only home loss last season, a season in which it advanced to the national championship game, came against Northern Illinois on Sept. 7.

Under fourth-year head coach Marcus Freeman, the Irish are 16-4 at home with losses to Marshall, Stanford, Ohio State and NIU. Freeman is 4-2 in primetime games at Notre Dame Stadium, with losses to the Cardinal and Buckeyes.

More Notre Dame scheduling news: Irish book 12-year series with Clemson

Notre Dame and Clemson — two of college football’s biggest brands — will be seeing a great deal of each other over the next decade-plus.

The Irish and Tigers struck a 12-year football scheduling agreement, the schools announced May 6, which is set to begin in 2027 and run through 2038.

Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger has previously reported that Notre Dame was expected to play Miami and Florida State more often as well, as part of its five-game Atlantic Coast Conference rotation.

“We strive to consistently create a football schedule that positions us for success in the College Football Playoff, and that goal requires us to form historic partnerships like this one with Clemson,” said Notre Dame athletics director Pete Bevacqua said. “This rivalry has already produced some of the most memorable moments in recent college football history, and our fans deserve these matchups to continue to make those indelible memories.”

On the field, some of Notre Dame’s most memorable games over the past seven years have come against Clemson. Most recently, the Irish lost 31-23 on the road 2023.

In Freeman’s first game against two-time national champion Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney, Notre Dame won 35-14 in an upset win at home. It was Freeman’s first signature win in South Bend.
