10:08 a.m. ET: Notre Dame defensive players take the field for their normal gathering at the 50-yard line. It’s a slightly later than normal arrival time, and several Syracuse players are on the field warming up. A few players linger on the field to soak in the scene.

10:20 a.m.: The first Notre Dame players emerge for initial warmups. Quarterback Drew Pyne begins throwing. Kickers Blake Grupe and Zac Yoakam start field goal practice from short range. Jon Sot and Bryce McFerson punting.

10:30 a.m. ET: Notre Dame releases its pregame injury report and says all players on the two-deep are available.

10:35 a.m. ET: Grupe extends his field goal range to 55 yards and hits from the middle of the field with a few yards to spare. Yoakam hits from 52 on the right hash. Grupe then changes directions, eventually going to 57 yards. He makes that attempt and hits the net in back, tossing the tee aside with a strut. The kicking conditions inside should be friendly for a long field goal attempt.

10:41 a.m. ET: Grupe starts kicking with a snap and holder. He makes all of the attempts, with a long of 54 yards. He tries two 55-yarders going the other direction, missing the first wide right and leaving the second short.

10:56 a.m.: All Irish players have left the field to get changed into their uniforms.

10:58 a.m.: Specialists return from the locker in uniform. Notre Dame is wearing its usual road whites.
