Notre Dame WBB guard Anaya Peoples joins two teammates in the transfer portal
What a day, or rather what an hour, for Notre Dame women’s basketball. On Wednesday afternoon, junior guard Anaya Peoples put her name in the transfer portal.
Peoples is one of three Notre Dame women’s basketball players to put her name in the portal on Wednesday, joining Abby Prohaska and Sam Brunelle.
The junior and Illinois native made her announcement on Instagram.
“My three years at Notre Dame have allowed me to build some of the best relationships and memories with my teammates, coaches and fans,” Peoples wrote. “I will forever cherish my time at Notre Dame and the people I have met here. Thank you to Coach Ivey and Coach McGraw for providing me with the opportunity to play at the University of Notre Dame.
“With that being said, I have decided to put my name in the transfer portal to explore other opportunities in finishing my last two years of eligibility.”
