Circa Sports like No. 5 Notre Dame to beat Southern Cal on Saturday slightly more than DraftKings.

Last Wednesday, DraftKings named the Fighting Irish a 6.5-point favorite against the Trojans when betting lines opened. But when Circa Sports released its odds Saturday, it set the spread at Notre Dame -7. The over/under points total is 50½ points.

By beating Army on Saturday, Notre Dame covered the spread for the ninth time this season and seventh straight game. The only two times the Irish didn’t cover it was when they lost outright to Northern Illinois in Week 2 and only beat Miami (Ohio) 28-3 in Week 4. The “over” has hit in six Notre Dame games.

Southern Cal is 7-4 against the spread, while the over has hit in just four games. The points total has gone “under” six times and Week 8 against Maryland was a “push.”

Saturday’s game between the Irish and Trojans kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET. CBS will have television coverage.

Notre Dame Quote of the Weekend

“I would say the long run. Man, that play was beautiful. The O-line executed perfectly. The receivers did their job as well, and that’s team glory right there. Everybody doing their job and executing the right way, man, you get plays like that to happen. And we’re all feeding off of each other.”
