Notre Dame will be back in primetime Saturday night, and Vegas likes the Irish this time around. After opening as a 3.5-point underdog against Ohio State last week, Circa Sports tabbed the Irish as a 2-point favorite against Duke in Week 5. The over/under is 52 points.

The No. 13 Fighting Irish (4-1) are coming off a 17-14 loss to No. 4 Ohio  State last Saturday. Notre Dame covered the spread for the fourth time this season. It previously covered the spread against Navy (-20.5), Tennessee State (-48.5) and NC State (-7).

No. 17 Duke (4-0) defeated Connecticut, 41-7, on the road last week. The Blue Devils covered the spread (-22.5) in the victory. They have covered the spread in three out of four times this season. The only time they did not was in a 42-7 win (-42.5) against Lafayette.

The Irish will roll into Durham, N.C., riding a 29-game regular season win streak against ACC schools. Notre Dame last faced Duke on Sept. 12, 2020, in South Bend. It won that game 27-13.
