Notre Dame takes on another ACC opponent in primetime Saturday night. And the No. 10 Fighting Irish (5-1) are once again favored on the road against No. 25 Louisville (5-0).

According to Vegas Insider, Notre Dame opened as a 6.5-point favorite against the Cardinals. The over/under total opened at 56.5.

It’s the sixth time the Irish have been favored in a game this season. Vegas previously gave Notre Dame the edge against Navy, Tennessee State (-48.5), NC State (-7), Central Michigan (-34.5) and Duke (-5). The Irish covered every spread besides its 41-17 victory over CMU on Sept. 16. Notre Dame’s (+3) 17-14 loss to Ohio State on Sept. 23 was a push

Louisville is 3-1-1 against the spread in 2023. It did not cover a 7.5-point line in its 39-34 win over Georgia Tech in Week 1. The Cardinals are coming off a 13-10 win against N.C. State last Saturday. That game was a push.

Saturday’s Notre Dame vs. Louisville kicks off at 7:30 p.m. EDT. ABC will televise the game.

Notre Dame Quote of the Weekend

“I told you last week great teams find a way to win and get it done when it matters most. And this is a great football team. When it mattered the most, we got it done. … Choose to love. That will always be my message.

“That will always be my message because that goes way beyond this, man. That goes the rest of your life. Continue to choose to love, man. Love this team. You understand that? Continue to love this team, man. I am proud of you guys, man. I couldn’t be a more prouder coach because of you guys.”
