What to know about Notre Dame
• The Fighting Irish just keep winning. They’ve won 18 games in a row and have not lost since Nov. 30. They’re looking to become the first team to win all 18 regular season conference games since the ACC switched to the 18-game model in the 2019-20 season.
• Notre Dame is No. 2 in the ACC in scoring offense and No. 3 in scoring defense. The Irish are the only team in the conference to appear in the top three in both categories. The Irish’s scoring margin of 26.3 is tops in the league as well.
• Sophomore guard Hannah Hidalgo has a legit case to be named National Player of the Year. She’s stuffing the stat sheet with 24.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 4.0 steals per game.
• Senior guards Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron have been lights-out lately, too; Miles is the team’s second-leading scorer with 16.7 points per game and Citron is third on the team at 13.5. They both average between 5 and 6 rebounds per game. Miles leads Notre Dame with 6.2 assists per game.

Cavinder scored 20 and 27 points against those opponents, respectively.
• Miami has two more players averaging in double figures in scoring this season, forward Cameron Williams (11.4) and forward Jasmyne Roberts (10.7). Former Notre Dame forward Natalija Marshall is the Hurricanes’ fourth-leading scorer at 8.2 points per game. She also averaged 4.8 rebounds per game, both of which are marks she never attained in a single season at Notre Dame. She’s playing 23.8 minutes per game this year, too, which is also a career-high.

Quotable: Notre Dame head coach Niele Ivey on Miami
“They play well at home. They’re offensive-minded; three-level scorers. Play with a ton of confidence. It’s just making sure every shot is a contested shot. Try to put size on [Cavinder] with [Cassandre Prosper] and [Sonia Citron]. Hopefully Hannah can do a really good job of wearing them down. Just making sure that every shot is a contested shot and making sure we do a good job individually against them.”
