• Notre Dame only had eight healthy players available against Purdue even with Citron in the starting lineup. It’ll likely be the same eight against JMU; Miles, Hidalgo, King, Citron, Kate Koval, Cassandre Prosper, Emma Risch and Sarah Cernugel. Expect Koval, the five-star freshman center, to start if that’s the case. Koval is averaging 13.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in 28.1 minutes per game.
What to know about James Madison
• James Madison has beaten Kent State, Loyola Maryland and East Carolina to start the season. In two of those wins, the Dukes put up fewer than 70 points.
• This is a program coming off a 23-12 season and a first-round loss to Stony Brook in the WBIT. The Dukes did not play any ranked teams last season. Their most notable result was probably a 85-69 loss to a Michigan State team that went 22-9 and lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
• Four JMU players are averaging in double figures in the scoring department through three games, including 6-3 center Kseniia Kozlova of Russia. She leads the team at 12.3 points per game. Peyton McDaniel, a 6-0 guard from Pennsylvania, is averaging a double-double with 11.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
