Scouting report:On the field, Bennett Christian brings the uncommon mix of skill, an ability to get open and natural ability to catch along with his desire to play very physical at the line of scrimmage. His dad played at Tennessee. His grandfather suited up at Houston, and he’s got an uncle who made a name for himself at Penn State. But Bennett Christian found the ideal fit for himself with the Buckeyes, and it’s not hard to see how he could make a major impact at a position that is critical for the overall success of the offense.

Bennett Christian was sold on the ability to develop into an NFL-caliber tight end, starting with his chance to spring the rushing attack with a 6-foot-6 frame that can still carry more muscle and ball skills that could make him an asset in the red zone. Ohio State prizes versatility from its tight ends, and Christian should provide exactly that.
