BREAKING: Indiana transfer Gabe Cupps commits to Ohio State

COLUMBUS – Ohio State head coach Jake Diebler has already landed a prospect out of the Transfer Portal.
Indiana transfer Gabe Cupps has committed to the Buckeyes over Dayton. Cupps, a former four-star recruit, started 22 games as a freshman averaging 2.6 points and 1.2 assists per game. He only played in four games this season after undergoing surgery to repair an ongoing meniscus injury.
The 6-foot-2 Cupps is originally from Dayton, Ohio and played at Centerville (OH) High. He was the No. 114 overall prospect in the 2023 high school class, according to On3. Cupps is currently On3’s No. 135 overall prospect and No. 25 ranked point guard in the 2025 Transfer Portal cycle.
