BREAKING: Ohio State flips three-star WR Brock Boyd from TCU

COLUMBUS — The Buckeyes have added another highly-productive pass catcher to the wide receiver room in Columbus.
Three-star Southlake Carroll (Texas) wide receiver Brock Boyd has committed to the Buckeyes. The 6-foot-1, 155-pound Boyd had been committed to TCU since July of 2024. He held offers from Kentucky, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee and several others.
Boyd is the 11th commitment for Ryan Day and Co. in the 2026 class. Ohio State now has six out-of-state commitments this cycle from Five-Star Plus+ Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr., four-star Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic safety Blaine Bradford, four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School safety Simeon Caldwell, three-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School tight end Corbyn Fordham, three-star Phoenix (Ariz.) Sandra Day O’Conner offensive lineman Tucker Smith and Thomas.
The Buckeyes also have a talented in-state recruiting class. Ohio State has four-star Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban offensive lineman Sam Greer, four-star Avon Lake (Ohio) interior offensive lineman Max Riley, four-star Avon (Ohio) cornerback Jakob Weatherspoon and three-star Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts committed from Ohio.
