BREAKING: Wright State transfer Brandon Noel commits to Ohio State

COLUMBUS – Ohio State has added even more talent to its front court from the Transfer Portal.
Wright State forward transfer Brandon Noel has committed to the Buckeyes. Noel, a Lucasville, Ohio native, chose Ohio State over other high-major programs.
Noel averaged 19.0 points per game during the 2024-25 campaign. The 6-foot-8, 240-pound Noel also averaged 7.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game this season. He shot 55.2% from the field and 35.8% from 3-point range as a junior. Additionally, Noel started all 33 games for Wright State this past season while averaging 33.9 minutes per game.
As a sophomore, Noel averaged 14.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. He started all 31 games for the Raiders while averaging 34.4 minutes per game. He shot. 53.5% from the field and 40.0% from 3-point range.
Noel joins Indiana guard transfer Gabe Cupps Santa Clara center transfer Christoph Tilly in Ohio State’s transfer portal class.

Noel played at Chillicothe High School, where he was an Ohio First Team All-State Division 1 selection as a senior.
