In-state tight end Brody Lennon commits to Ohio State
COLUMBUS — Ohio State has added another in-state standout to the 2025 class.
Three-star Cleveland (Ohio) Gilmour Academy tight end Brody Lennon has committed to the Buckeyes. He committed to the Buckeyes over scholarship offers from Kentucky, Missouri, Wisconsin and others.
Ohio State was not originally planning to take another tight end in the 2025 class but Lennon forced the coaching staff’s hand after earning an offer at camp this summer. Lennon then took an official visit to Ohio State over the weekend and that is when he decided he wanted to be a Buckeye.
“It was kind of surreal, because it’s always been my dream to play at Ohio State.” Lennon told Lettermen Row. “So when I had the opportunity and everything felt right, for me and my family, we decided that was what’s best for us as a family. I liked it the best. So we chose Ohio State.”
The 6-foot-4 and 220-pound Lennon is the No. 487 overall prospect and No. 27 tight end in the On3 Industry Rankings. Lennon pairs with four-star Washington (Okla.) tight end Nate Roberts to give Ohio State a two-man tight end haul in the 2025 class.
Five-star Bellefontaine (Ohio) quarterback Tavien St. Clair, four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela-St. Joseph running back Bo Jackson, three-star Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph’s Prep running back Isaiah West, four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic wide receiver Quincy Porter, four-star Wayne (NJ) DePaul Catholic wide receiver De’zie Jones, Mansfield (Ohio) Ontario three-star athlete Bodpegn Miller, four-star Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer offensive tackle Carter Lowe and three-star Westerville (Ohio) North offensive lineman Jake Cook complete Ohio State’s offensive class.
