Ohio State football recruiting can be a wild ride full of twists and turns as recruits from all over the country maneuver their way to signing day. Lettermen Row is here to help navigate the tumultuous roads by getting to the heart of the matter with the young football players and Ohio State coaches and staff members themselves. This week, Ohio State verbal Evan Pryor joins the show once more to talk about his summer, what he’ll do if North Carolina cancels its fall football season and more.
Like most kids around the country, the summer has been a bit unusual for Evan Pryor.
The Buckeyes commit is three weeks away from the start of his senior year of high school and has no real idea if he’ll be heading back to William A. Hough outside of Charlotte (N.C.) or if his future includes a big move across the country.
All he knows is that he’s ready to compete for a running back spot at Ohio State in January, what happens from now until then is pretty much up in the air.

Pryor, the country’s No. 2-ranked all-purpose running back, also knows that he’s not a secondary option for Ohio State or any of the other schools trying to recruit him.

How often are other schools trying to sway him suggesting that he can’t beat out TreVeyon Henderson? How has his school responded to his concerns regarding some racial issues that prompted him to consider sitting out his senior season? What will Pryor do if he loses his senior year of football to Covid-19-related delays?
The Buckeyes commit talks about those items and more as the latest guest on Birminology from Lettermen Row.
