First thoughts: Buckeyes steamroll Western Michigan

COLUMBUS — Ohio State wasn't very happy with how it began last week's season-opening win. The Buckeyes punted on their first possession. They made sure it didn't happen again this week. Ohio State scored on its first possession. And second. And third. The Buckeyes were only stopped by penalty on their fourth drive and went into the half with a five-score lead. They did exactly what head coach Ryan Day said he wanted from his team: leave no doubt.
