Lettermen Row Ohio High School Football Team of the Week: Gahanna Lincoln
COLUMBUS – Week 10 of the Ohio high school football season featured several big-time games including multiple top-25 matchups.
The Lettermen Row team of the week is No. 33 Gahanna (Ohio) Lincoln who went on the road and upset No. 16 Pickerington North (Ohio) to win an OCC Championship.
GAME RECAP
Pickerington North kicker Brandon Fowler opened the scoring up with a 42-yard field goal. Fowler’s kick gave the Panthers a 3-0 lead early in the second quarter.
Gahanna Lincoln took the lead on their next possession, however. 2025 athlete Jake Bushelman, an Army commit, took a quarterback sweep 80 yards to the end zone for a touchdown that made it a 7-3 game.
A few minutes later it looked Pickerington North 2026 quarterback Jarin Mock, a Wisconsin commit, had connected with 2025 Kentucky wide receiver commit Preston Bowman for a 24-yard touchdown on 4th down before the official overturned the call on the field. Gahanna Lincoln led 7-3 at the break.
Pickerington North then tacked on a 32-yard field goal from Ben Fowler in the third quarter to make it 7-6 heading into the final frame.

In the fourth quarter, Gahanna Lincoln once again put the ball in Jake Bushelman’s hands and broke off a 40-yard run down to the Pickerington North 5-yard line. Two plays later Bushelman ran it from one yard out to put the score at 14-6 with less than six minutes left to play.
Gahanna Lincoln picked off Mock on Pickerington North’s next possession and added a field goal to make the final score 17-6.
Player of the Game: Jake Bushelman
Who else? Bushelman, a wide receiver, stepped up in place of the injured Brennan Ward, a 2025 Kentucky quarterback commit, and led the Lions to a victory on the road. The 6-foot and 185-pound prospect finished the name with nine carries for 140 yards and two touchdowns. He also had two tackles on defense.
