Jayden Fielding adds a field goal, Buckeyes lead 31-7 late

Caleb Downs returns a punt for a touchdown, Buckeyes lead 21-7

Ohio State Safety Caleb Downs fielded the punt from Indiana punter James Evans at his own 21-yard line then took it 79 yards to the house. The Buckeyes extend their lead to 21-7 over the Hoosiers with 12:44 left in the third quarter.
Buckeyes special teams step up, Ohio State takes 14-7 lead into half
11/23/2024 12:40:53 PMFor the third straight game the Ohio State punt return unit has blocked a punt, kind of. Indiana punter James Evans bobbled the snap and the Buckeyes were there to bring him down before he could get the kick off.
Ohio State got the ball back at the Indiana 7-yard line. Three plays later running back TreVeyon Henderson ran it in from four yard out to give the Buckeyes a 14-7 lead over the Hoosiers.

Ohio State went 44 yard on five plays before quarterback Will Howard hit wide receiver Emeka Egbuka for an 11-yard touchdown in the back corner of the end-zone. The Buckeyes tie the game at 7-7 with 7:22 left in the second quarter.
Indiana scores first, takes 7-0 lead

The Hoosiers went 70 yards on a 11 plays before scoring a touchdown. Running back Ty Son Lawton ran it in from two yards out for the opening score of the game.
Five-Star Plus+ flip target visiting Ohio State
11/23/2024 11:07:30 AMFive-Star Plus+ offensive tackle and Tennessee commit David Sanders Jr. is visiting Ohio State for the Indiana game, per On3’s Pete Nakos. The visit was first reported by Eleven Warriors.
The Buckeyes missed out on Sanders in the summer but are working to flip him from the Volunteers.
