COLUMBUS — Ohio high school football has wrapped up an exciting but perhaps predictable week nine. Teams across the state are getting prepared for the final week of the regular season before playoffs start.

Several teams throughout the state held on for undefeated records and others picked up needed wins. While we can’t go through every team, Lettermen Row runs through the scores of the top 25 teams in Ohio per the Massey Ratings.

1-10

No. 1 Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller defeated No. 11 Lakewood St. Edward 35-30 on Saturday, Oct. 19.

No. 2 Marion Local defeated Minster 21-0 on Friday, Oct. 18.

No. 3 Walsh Jesuit defeated Brunswick 38-7 on Friday, Oct. 18.

No. 4 Avon defeated Steele 42-7 on Friday, Oct. 18.

No. 5 Massillon Washington defeated Warren G. Harding 45-14 on Friday, Oct. 18.

No. 6 Archbishop Hoban defeated Central York (Pa) 41-7.

No. 7 Anderson defeated No. 12 Winton Woods 31-17. This was our Game of the Week.

No. 8 St. Xavier defeated St. Ignatius 31-19.

No. 9 Lakota West defeated Lakota East 42-24.

No. 10 Toledo Central Catholic defeated St. Francis de Sales 28-7.

No. 11 St. Edward lost 35-30 to No. 1 Archbishop Moeller on Saturday, Oct. 19.

No. 12 Winton Woods lost 31-17 to No. 7 Anderson. This was our Game of the Week.

No. 13 Bishop Watterson defeated Harrison 51-14.

No. 14 Mentor defeated Strongsville 44-17.

No. 15 Medina Highland defeated Cuyahoga Falls 56-0.

No. 16 Wapakoneta defeated Bath 48-20.

No. 17 Pickerington North defeated New Albany 34-14.

No. 18 Ursuline defeated Chaney 37-6.

No. 19 Coldwater defeated Versailles 52-14.

No. 20 Ironton defeated Gallia Academy 49-10.

No. 21 Princeton defeated Middletown 13-7.

No. 22 Wadsworth defeated Solon 28-27.

No. 23 LaSalle defeated Harvest Prep 28-14.

No. 24 Olentangy Orange defeated Hilliard Bradley 35-10.

No. 25 Anthony Wayne defeated Sylvania Northview 56-0.
