COLUMBUS — It’s never too early to start talking about camp season at Ohio State. On Friday, the Buckeyes announced their summer recruiting camp schedule on ‘X’.

Ohio State consistently draws top talent from all over the state and the country to campus for camps in June. The Buckeyes will put on five, one-day camps starting Thursday, June 5. The other dates for the one-day camp schedule include June 9, June 10, June 12 and June 17.

In previous years, Ohio State split the camps into two sessions. Offensive and defensive linemen worked out in the morning while skilled players worked out in the afternoon. The last two summers, however, all position groups camped together. As of now, that is expected to be the case again this summer.

Ohio State will also host two high school 7-on-7 tournaments for the second straight summer. The dates for those events are June 11 and June 18. Last summer Cincinnati (Ohio) Anderson, Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne, Hurricane (WVa.), Ironton (Ohio), Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic and Cincinnati (Ohio) Winton Woods were among the teams that competed in the one day tournaments.

All seven camps days will be important days for the Ohio State coaching staff and recruiting department as they evaluate the 2026, 2027, 2028 and even 2029 classes.

2025, 2026 class camp favorites

Ohio State had plenty of its 2025 class camp in Columbus before to signing with the Buckeyes. Tavien St. Clair, Devin Sanchez, Carter Lowe, Bo Jackson, Eli Lee and several signees all camped at Ohio State throughout their high school career. A few of the Buckeyes signees even earned their offers at camp last summer like Brody Lennon, Bodpegn Miller and Jake Cook.

Additionally, all four Buckeyes in the 2026 class camped at Ohio State last summer as well.

Five-Star Plus+ Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr., four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School and tight end Corbyn Fordham, four-star Avon (Ohio) cornerback Jakob Weatherspoon and three-star Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts all worked out for the Buckeyes coaching staff last summer. Matter of fact, Weatherspoon and Ricketts earned offers from the Buckeyes following strong camp performances.
