COLUMBUS — As of now, nearly everyone has Ohio State inside the NCAA Tournament. The folks at Bracket Matrix even have Ohio State as a No. 9 seed in the tournament after taking a look at 100 different brackets to compile a consensus.
The resume for Ohio State seems to indicate that this team is bound for the Big Dance — although the season is far from over with five regular-season games and the Big Ten Tournament remaining.

Lettermen Row is breaking down where the most popular bracketologists have Ohio State landing in the NCAA Tournament as of Tuesday morning. Let’s dive in.
Joe Lunardi, ESPN
The most popular bracket analyst, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, has Ohio State in the East Region as a No. 9 seed, playing No. 8 seed UConn, the back-to-back national champions, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Win that game, and Lunardi would have the Buckeyes facing the winner of No. 1 seed Duke and the winner of No. 16 seed Southern vs. No. 16 seed American.
Other Big Ten teams in that projected region: No. 4 seed Michigan State and No. 6 seed UCLA.
Jerry Palm, CBS
CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm has Ohio State as a No. 10 seed in the Midwest Region, earning a spot in the tournament and playing close to home. He has the Buckeyes facing No. 7 seed Louisville in Cleveland for the right to play the winner of No. 2 seed Tennessee and No. 15 seed Towson.
The top seed in that region, according to Palm, would be Alabama. Other Big Ten teams in Palm’s Midwest Region are No. 4 seed Michigan State and No. 6 seed Illinois.

The Field of 68
Media company The Field of 68 has Ohio State as a No. 11 seed — but playing in the First Four round against fellow No. 11 seed Oklahoma. Win that game, and face No. 6 seed Ole Miss in the Midwest Region.
Other Big Ten teams in that proposed region, which is highlighted by top seed Alabama, are No. 3 seed Wisconsin and No. 5 seed UCLA.
The Sporting News
The Sporting News’ Bill Bender has Ohio State safely in the field as a No. 10 seed, joining other 10 seeds Texas, Arkansas and Nebraska. The Buckeyes have already beaten Texas and have a loss to Nebraska, although they play the Cornhuskers again in a couple of weeks.
The Athletic
The Athletic’s Joe Rexrode has Ohio State as the No. 11 seed in the South Region, facing off against No. 6 seed Ole Miss in Denver. The winner of that matchup would face the winner of No. 3 seed Texas A&M and No. 14 seed Utah Valley. Ohio State lost to Texas A&M in College Station early in the season.
The top seed in that projected region is Auburn, according to Rexrode. The other Big Ten team in Rexrode’s Midwest Region is No. 5 seed Illinois.
