COLUMBUS — Headed toward Saturday’s showdown of Big Ten unbeatens at Oregon, the Ohio State linebackers — especially Sonny Styles and Cody Simon — are riding a high. They are coming off their best tandem performance of the season in which they helped shut down Iowa and its star running back Kaleb Johnson last week. Styles also knows the challenge ratchets up this week as he, Simon and the rest of the defense will work to solve the more complex Oregon offense led by quarterback Dillon Gabriel. “We’re excited,” Styles said. “Obviously it’s a match-up game.
