Final mock draft roundup: Can Buckeyes break single-draft record?

COLUMBUS — Ohio State is going for an all-time record this weekend. The Buckeyes have 17 draft-eligible players who are hoping to hear their names called when the draft takes place Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
If 15 Buckeyes players are selected, they’ll tie Georgia from the 2022 NFL Draft for most players from a single school selected in a single draft. If 16 are selected from Ohio State, the program will break the record — and likely never have it broken again.
Lettermen Row is tracking the mock drafts and rounding them up to see if any experts believe the Buckeyes will break that record — and where experts see Ohio State products landing this weekend.

Seven-round mock drafts: Will Ohio State break record?
The Athletic’s Dane Brugler posts seven-round mock draft
Ohio State is projected to tie the NFL Draft record for most players from one school selected in one draft, according to The Athletic NFL Draft expert Dane Brugler. He has 15 Ohio State players selected in his latest mock draft — which was posted just a week before the draft kicks off Thursday night.
Brugler has two Ohio State players in his first round — wide receiver Emeka Egbuka and left tackle Josh Simmons.
His full seven-round mock draft of Buckeyes players can be found below.

NFL Network seven-round mock draft
NFL Network’s Chad Reuter has two Buckeyes going in the first round of his final mock draft: Emeka Egbuka at No. 19 overall to the Green Bay Packers — who trade up in this mock draft — and left tackle Josh Simmons at No. 25 overall to the Houston Texans.
Overall, Reuter has 15 players from Ohio State selected in his seven-round mock draft — including 11 Buckeyes in the first three rounds, which would be historic.
If the Buckeyes do have 15 players selected, they would tie Georgia in 2022. That Bulldogs team had five first-round picks after winning the national championship in back-to-back seasons.
