Tim May: Captain Emeka Egbuka stands up for Buckeyes team leaders
COLUMBUS — While some former players and others on the outside have seized this week to point to what they think is lack of vociferous leaders on the nevertheless No. 4 Ohio State football team, one of its senior leaders Emeka Egbuka said Wednesday he think the Buckeyes are in “great shape” in that regard headed toward the Saturday Big Ten showdown at unbeaten No.3 Penn State. “I do. I think our leadership is in great shape,” the receiver told Lettermen Row. “I think that my class of seniors, we've been through a lot in our three going on four years here at Ohio State, a lot of heartbreaking losses coming up one step short. So we know what that feeling is. We're trying to leave no regrets this season. "So I think that we have the guys in the right mind space to be able to lead this team.”
