COLUMBUS — Ohio State is kicking off its regular season with one of the most highly anticipated home nonconference matchups in recent memory. The Buckeyes will host a top-five Texas team at Noon on Aug. 30.

But that’s not the only game that now has a TV network and kickoff time. Ohio State now knows the network and kick time for its other two nonconference matchups, as well.

The Buckeyes will face Grambling on Sept. 6 at 3:30 p.m. That game will air on Big Ten Network. And the Sept. 13 date with the Ohio Bobcats will kick off at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on Peacock.

Following the matchup against Ohio, the Buckeyes will have an idle week before heading out West to open conference play at Washington on Sept. 27. That game does not have a kickoff time or network designation yet; the only Big Ten game that does as of Thursday is The Game at Michigan, which will kick in its normal Noon window and will be broadcast by FOX.

Ohio State will face Grambling for the first time ever on Sept. 6. The Buckeyes will host the in-state Ohio Bobcats for the seventh time in program history, the first matchup since 2010. Ohio State is 6-0 against the Bobcats, with the first meeting coming in 1899. The Buckeyes famously haven’t lost to an in-state school since 1894.
