Buckeyes set to honor 31 seniors on Senior Day before The Game
COLUMBUS — Ohio State will be as healthy as it can possibly be this time of year for The Game against Michigan.
Of course, the program won’t have left tackle Josh Simmons, who was lost for the year with a knee injury during the Oregon game on Oct. 12, and center Seth McLaughlin, who tore his achilles last Tuesday. But those are the only two starters who won’t be available for Ohio State when it takes on Michigan in the rivalry game (Noon, FOX).
With the relatively clean bill of health, the program is set to honor 31 seniors as part of Senior Day festivities before the game, a remarkable list that includes multi-year contributors and stars from teams across the last four years.
Starters to be honored on Senior Day include quarterback Will Howard, offensive tackles Josh Fryar and Josh Simmons, center Seth McLaughlin, offensive lineman Donovan Jackson, running back TreVeyon Henderson, wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, tight end Gee Scott Jr., defensive linemen Jack Sawyer, J.T. Tuimoloau, Ty Hamilton and Tyleik Williams, linebacker Cody Simon as well as defensive backs Denzel Burke, Lathan Ransom and Jordan Hancock.
