COLUMBUS — Ohio State wide receiver Kojo Antwi plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal when it opens next week, he told On3.

Antwi will have two years of eligibility remaining wherever he chooses to go.

Kojo Antwi is the second Buckeyes wide receiver to announce intentions to enter the transfer portal since the loss to Michigan, joining senior receiver Jayden Ballard — who announced on Tuesday.

As a member of the Class of 2022, Antwi was a four-star recruit out of Suwanee (Ga.) Lambert, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 19 overall prospect in the state, the No. 31 wide receiver in the class and the No. 191 overall prospect in the state.

Buckeyes veteran wide receiver Jayden Ballard will transfer

Ohio State veteran wide receiver Jayden Ballard will enter the transfer portal when it opens next Monday, he tells On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Ballard will have one year of eligibility remaining wherever he chooses to go.

The veteran wide receiver was ranked as the No. 84 overall player in the class of 2021. He was the No. 14 wide receiver and No. 4 player in the state of Ohio for his class.

Ballard had 11 catches for 177 yards and one touchdown in his four seasons at Ohio State. He earned the starting kick-returning job for the Buckeyes to open the season before losing that job to various other skill players for Ohio State.

Ohio State kept waiting for Ballard to take the next step in his development and become a more consistent weapon throughout his career, but that never came.
