Buckeyes expect Purdue transfer tight end Max Klare to have big role in 2025 offense

INDIANAPOLIS — Ohio State safety Lathan Ransom had to say something to tight ends coach Keenan Bailey. From the defensive side of the ball, Ransom couldn't help but pass on a bit of advice to the young offensive coach. The Buckeyes had just destroyed Purdue 45-0 in a game that wasn't nearly as competitive as the final score even indicated. But Ransom noticed something -- somebody -- on the Boilermakers roster: tight end Max Klare.
